LOLER Lifting Plant & Equipment Examination

Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) all items of lifting equipment which carry out lifting duties are required to have regular examinations carried out by a competent person.

Our experienced and qualified engineers will examine and determine if your equipment is in good working order and safe to operate under the LOLER regulations. Our experienced and fully qualified engineers will advise you of the frequency of examination required for your equipment.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) pieces of work equipment that are used in a working environment also require thorough inspection. These examinations need to be carried out on a regular basis to ensure your equipment is safe to operate. Our experienced surveyors would be pleased to carry out these inspections for you.

Please check out the lists below to see if your lifting plant requires either LOLER or PUWER examinations.

We can also provide on site surveys to advise you what equipment under LOLER or PUWER statutory regulations need to be examined and reported upon.

All inspections are generally carried out on site and a report is provided detailing the results and any defects found during the examination.

We are happy to work with you to reduce the disruption to your business whilst these essential inspections take place. We also provide LOLER & PUWER testing services at our main workshop, which has specialised testing equipment.
